2022 marks White Meadow Temple’s 70th Anniversary – a wonderful time for sharing memories and celebrating!
To commemorate this milestone, in addition to hosting a number of special events, we have published an online Anniversary Journal. By placing an ad in this Journal, congregants & community members had the opportunity to simultaneously publicize their business and make a contribution to a very worthy local non-profit institution. Events to celebrate our milestone:
Saturday, September 10, 2022: Shabbat morning services honored long-time members Joel Goldman, Sheldon Kirsch and Harvey Pyser followed by a delicious catered Kiddush Luncheon.
We were honored to have our esteemed speaker (who grew up in White Meadow Lake!) now Director of the NJ Division on Civil Rights, and previous Counsel to the Attorney General and former law clerk to Justice Ruth Bader Ginsberg, Rachel Wainer Apter.
Sunday, September 11, 2022: Former Executive Director and Curator of the Jewish Historical Society of Greater MetroWest, Linda Forgosh, gave a presentation on “The History of White Meadow Temple: Then and Now.”

For 23 years, Ms. Forgosh researched and curated a series of exhibits and authored many books on the history of Jews in our area. She was instrumental in the digitization of Greater MetroWest’s paper-of-record, the NJ Jewish News (1947-2016).
October 22, 2022 – Camp White Meadow Reunion: we will be hosting a special service and kiddush for past members who will be returning to the area for the Camp White Meadow reunion. Come join us and be reunited with old friends.
We are in the process of planning an activity geared to children. Details to follow.
We are excited about remembering the achievements of our past and look forward to a successful future!
