Morah Alison Popky received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in early childhood at the University of New Hampshire and has been in early childhood education since 1986. In 2004, she began her career in Jewish education at a JCC program in Ottawa, Ontario in Canada. She has worked in private and public programs for young children, secular, Jewish, (JCC and synagogue based) as well as university lab school settings integrating early childhood with mentoring university students. Family engagement has been a passion for this rabbi’s wife, mother of two, and Jewess (as her mother would say). Alison has been integrally involved in White Meadow Temple since arriving in 2014, and our Jewish Education Center is thriving under her leadership and direction.
